Friendly and popular local spot. Home cooking with large portions. Not the most refined, but hits the spot. I had the moose pie, out of curiosity. Quite tasty.

Service is pretty decent. You have to try the moose pizza because it was fantastic! The burgers are pretty great as well. Wasn't a fan of the fries but that's alright. still great food over all.

Most of the staff are just as lovely as the food is! Great place to get some food while you are in Rocky Harbour.

Great food at a good price, much much lower price than what you’d pay in a restaurant in other places. Everything about the food was perfect, there’s not one thing I have a problem with. The only thing is the actual restaurant itself is a little small which can lead to long wait times to get a table, but if you get take out you can avoid this which is what I did. Overall I recommend this place if you are in the area.

Food was amazing!! The menu doesn't lie when it says they take their time cooking fresh food for each person, as it took about 40 minutes to get our food. But it was worth every minute of the wait!!! We each had a clubhouse, and it was by far the best one I've ever had!!!

Very decent food in this small place. Fried chicken was amazing: one of the best we have tried and the poutine was superb. Beer was really cold (not easy to find) and personnel was very pleasant and helpful. Would go again if in town. Hopefully will be back. I did not try the moose items but they had the most extensive moose meals I saw in all of the many restaurants I visited in Newfoundland during my 7 day stay.

This place came highly recommended by several people we met—both locals and tourists. It struck me as a popular local place. The menu is extensive and there’s something for pretty much everyone. The restaurant is bigger than the others that we tried in the same area and there is a dairy bar in the gift shop.

Make a reservation/get on their wait list because it’s busy and prime times are often full. We ate at the restaurant and had ice cream at the dairy bar. The food was simple and homey but well executed. They offer moose and the usual sea fare here which was all done well. No complaints on the meal. Service was quick and polite but not particularly friendly. Atmosphere is good and the layout of the establishment is good considering they have two separate sections for dairy bar + gift shop and the restaurant through one entrance. There is a patio but it was too chilly in the evenings to bother sitting out.

Everything was good but for the wait… there are plenty of other places that are just as good or even better. I would go back but would make a reservation/wait list.
